Consider This - Covering the Evil at Daystar and NRB

I am sure most of you won’t have any idea what any of this is about, unless you’ve been following abuse in the church. Believe me, there is a LOT of it. In fact, I personally think that every church has abuse in it. Abusers are everywhere.

But just in case you’re not aware of the abuse I’m thinking about here, it’s at Daystar Television, which is classified as a church and it was recently acted out at NRB - The National Religious Broadcasters Convention. A convention I have covered for almost twenty years as the host of Bible News Radio.

The extremely short version of what’s been going on is that Jonathan & Suzy Lamb have a little girl, who is now being referred to as “baby Lamb”, who was “allegedly” sexually abused. Baby Lamb is believed to allegedly have been sexually abused by the brother in law (“Pete”) of Jonathan who is also an employee at Daystar. Joni Lamb, the mother of Jonathan is also the President and co-founder of Daystar, and she is accused of covering up the abuse.

Jonathan and Suzy tried to get help for their daughter and basically they have been railroaded, abused and forced out of Daystar.

So, in order to get help, they eventually reached out to veteran journalist, Julie Roys who founded The Roys Report. Julie has made a name for herself because she first exposed corruption at Moody Bible Institute.

As a result of this scandal, which has been brewing going on four months now, Daystar has had a reported 19 broadcast partners leave their network. Most notable is Joyce Meyer and also Ray Comfort. You can see more of who has left here. In my opinion, most of them are false teachers.

The folks who have been covering this disaster are, as Joni Lamb, called them - “low level bloggers” and as Joni’s henchman called Laura Lynn Tyler Thompson, a “clickbait cockroach”. You seriously can’t make this up. A “leading” voice in Christian media referred to Julie Roys as a low level blogger and Joni’s henchmen called Laura Lynn Tyler Thompson a clickbait cockroach.

The “crimes” of Julie and Laura Lynn are simply trying to get justice for baby Lamb.

Fast forward through tons of leaked audio, which can be heard all over various YouTube channels and also on Julie Roys blog, and enter in The National Religious Broadcasters Convention this past week.

Three of the “low level bloggers” went to NRB where they ended up having a run in with “Daystar mafia” and NRB security who threw them out of the convention.

The three involved were “Ohio for Freedom” a guy named Everett, Pastor Ray Curry who goes by The Unction and Laura Lynn Tyler Thompson.

During their time in the NRB expo, they had a few words with some of the Daystar mafia and one of the Daystar mafia got so upset that Pastor Ray Curry told him to “keep it moving” that they had him escorted out of the Expo. It was completely RACIST. You can watch a video of Pastor Ray here.

And here is the point of why I am writing about this. It was completely racist and Pastor Ray Curry didn’t deserve to be treated like some criminal especially since it was the NATIONAL RELIGIOUS BROADCASTERS CONVENTION!

Here you have a few good Christian folks who are trying to get to the bottom of these covered up sexual abuse of a child and those folks are being treated like criminals.

I think every single person who patronizes The National Religious Broadcasters Convention and also has their show on the Daystar Network, needs to consider pulling their support in every way possible. This is a complete outrage!

However, I am not surprised by most of this because this is very typical behavior of those who advocate and support abuse. Julie Roys interviewed Pastor Ray and Laura Lynn after this happened and she revealed why she doesn’t go to NRB anymore and also played video of Pastor John MacArthur who has covered up serious abuse of children who were sexually abused and also physically abused by their now incarcerated father. John MacArthur also disfellowshipped the wife of this abuser and humiliated her before the whole church and even after an attorney, who was on the elder board of his church uncovered the truth, MacArthur still remains defiant and unrepentant. I want to highly encourage you to watch this clip.

Bottom line here is that NRB doesn’t care about the sexual abuse of anyone and neither does Daystar. In fact, at this convention, the “alleged” pedophile was being marched around the NRB expo and being protected.
